Watching soccer with a free app is easy. Check out the available apps, tournaments, and a tutorial on how to install and use them.

With free apps, it's much easier to follow the matches of the world's best teams directly from your mobile phone.

If you're also passionate about football, I'll show you the best apps, explain how to install and use them, and keep you up to date on upcoming seasons and the highly anticipated Club World Cup.

Soccer with a free app – Apps

There are currently several reliable and free options for watching soccer. Here are some of the ones I use and recommend:

Pluto TV

One of my favorites. It offers sports channels that broadcast soccer matches, mainly alternative championships, and summarized versions of major matches. The quality is good, and access is 100% free.

Globoplay

Ideal for those who want to watch Brazilian national team matches, the Copa do Brasil, and some of the Brasileirão. The free version offers live streaming, which is already excellent.

ESPN

Although many broadcasts are paid, ESPN offers some free matches, mainly from minor leagues and in their early stages. I've watched some international friendlies and MLS matches there.

TNT Sports on YouTube

That's right, you can find live streams of Champions League and Europa League matches on YouTube, depending on the season's broadcast rights.

OneFootball

This app offers free live streams of some lesser-known European championships, such as the Bundesliga 2 (Germany's second division), Scandinavian championships, and some club friendlies.

Futbol Play HD

A website and app that offer live streams, especially of major international tournaments such as the Copa América, the European Championship, and the Club World Cup.

Major championships and their dates

So you don't miss any important matches, here are the dates for upcoming seasons of major championships:

Brazilian Serie A: scheduled to begin in April 2025 and end in December.

Premier League (England): from August to May.

La Liga (Spain): begins in August and ends in May.

Bundesliga (Germany): from August to May.

Serie A (Italy): begins in August and ends in May.

Champions League: The group stage begins in September and ends in May.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025

This is one of the most important developments in the world football calendar. FIFA will debut a new format for the Club World Cup.

Thirty-two clubs from all continents will participate, including giants such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Flamengo, and Palmeiras, among others.

I'm really looking forward to this tournament. Can you imagine seeing so many giant clubs facing off in the same competition? It'll definitely be historic!

How to install and use the apps

If you're not very familiar with technology, don't worry. It's very simple:

  • Open your phone's app store (Play Store on Android or App Store on iPhone).
  • Search for the name of the app (e.g.: Pluto TV, Globoplay, OneFootball).
  • Click “Install” or “Get.”
  • Open the app, accept the permissions, and create a free account if necessary.
  • Find the "Live" or "Sports" section and select the match you want to watch.

Nowadays, there's no excuse to miss that decisive match. I've watched games on the road, at work, in the car (parked, of course!), and even hidden away at social events (who doesn't?).

Thanks to these free apps, the excitement of soccer is always at your fingertips.

So, if you love football like I do, download these apps now, stay up-to-date with the tournament dates, and get ready for some serious excitement, especially with the debut of the new Club World Cup in 2025.

Let's experience football wherever and whenever! Enjoy football with a free app.
